Sealark Cottage is a Victorian Grade II listed former Coastguard cottage and is available to holidaymakers for the first time in its 120 year history It has recently been extensively refurbished to a high standard including gas-fired central heating throughout.

Sealark Cottage is situated in an enviable position with stunning panoramic sea views from both the house and garden.  It is possible to walk to the town centre in about ten minutes along the towns popular marine promenade.

Sealark Cottage is also on the edge of the Berry Head Counrty Park, this is defined as an area of outstanding natural beauty.  It is one of the countries most important heritage, conservation and wildlife sites.

The accomodation at Sealark Cottage consists of the following:-

kitchenKitchen - The kitchen is fully fitted with built-under electric oven, gas hob, fridge with freezer compartment, automatic washer/drier and microwave.  The views from the window above the sink ensure that there is a welcome distraction whilst doing the dishes!  There is a half-step into the spacious utility area, second toilet and garden.

Utility Area - This is a large concrete-floored area which is ideal for storing wet items such as surfboards, sailing gear, muddy boots etc.  Pets will only be accommodated by prior agreement and are not permitted in the main body of the house, so this area is ideal for their bedding. from here you access the garden.

Garden - As can be seen from the photograph, the garden views are a great asset to this property.  There is a substantial decked area which catches the sun all  day and throughout the year. From the sundeck amazing sunsets over Dartmoor can be seen while enjoying a relaxing glass of wine in the evening.  The garden is attractively set out with a mixture of lawn, mature shrubs and pots to provide interest all year round. A small raised pond is protected by wire mesh yet still allows glimpses of the elusive goldfish.

Parking - There is off-road parking at the property for at least two cars, with nearby additional parking for cars or boats available for an additional charge on request.
